Green suppliers

There are green energy suppliers for both electricity and gas and also some green tariffs offered by other energy companies. These source their supplies from their own or other renewable generators to feed into the national electricity grid and gas mains. Customers are served just like those for any other energy supplier but they have paid for their energy to be generated from renewable sources.

Two of the best 100% renewable green energy suppliers are Ecotricity and Good Energy, who both offer competitive tariffs and very good customer service. Other green suppliers include: Co-operative Energy (many tariffs aiming for 75% renewable and a 100% green tariff), Green Energy (three tariffs including one that is 100% renewable), LoCO2 Energy (hydropower), and Ovo Energy (three tariffs: 33% and 100% renewable).

Several of these suppliers provide green gas too, including Ecotricity, Good Energy, Green Energy, and LoCO2 Energy.
